State health officials, the Lynchburg Health Department and the Lynchburg Department of Water
Resources are asking Lynchburg residents to boil their tap water or use bottled
water for drinking and for cooking.
Health officials issued the boil water advisory as a safety precaution following a water main break that has impacted a good portion of the city.
