Washington and
Lee’s Community Grants Committee has made 11 grants totaling over 26-thousand
dollars to non-profit organizations in the Rockbridge area., in the first of two
rounds of grants for 2011-12.

Table, Hoofbeats Therapeutic
Riding Center,
Kling Elementary
School, the Natural Bridge/Glasgow Food Pantry, Rockbridge Area
Free Clinic, Rockbridge Area Relief Association, Rockbridge Strings
Program/FAIR, and Yellow
Brick Road
Early Learning
Center.
During its 2011-12 cycle, the
Community Grants Committee will award $50,000. The submission deadline for the
second round of consideration is June 1, 2012.
