Computer and Electronics Recycling

Rockbridge County Recycling will be holding a computer and electronics recycling collection Saturday, Oct. 8, at the county maintenance garage on 228 Greenhouse Road.
Hours for the collection will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the service is available for residents of Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County.
Items accepted for recycling include laptop computers, desktop computers, CRT and LCD monitors, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, copiers, wires, cables, circuit boards, video game systems, DVD players, VCRs, and microwave ovens.
Rockbridge County’s first electronics recycling collection was held last year, as more than 13,000 pounds of electronic waste was collected.
