Challenger for Goodlatte

Karen Kwiatkowski has announced she plans to challenge U.S. Rep. Bob Goodlatte for the Republican nomination for the 6th Congressional District seat.
The seat is up for election in November 2012.
The 50-year-old Kwiatkowski describes herself as a conservative constitutionalist from the liberty wing of the Republican Party and a hard-core fiscal conservative.
Kwiatkowski spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force before retiring to a cattle farm in Shenandoah County.
