Latest on Gas Prices

Gas prices continue to drop.
The national average price for regular grade gasoline was $3.36 last Friday and $3.17 in Virginia. The national average has declined 41 of the past 47 days, through Friday.  
AAA officials say retail gas prices should continue to fall in the coming months, although any decrease could depend on whether crude oil prices decline. They say gas prices can’t move that much lower if crude oil remains above $100 per barrel.
